About SimpleShuttles

SimpleShuttles books group charter buses in all 50 states: one all-in price in seconds, a vetted independent operator, and the legwork handled from booking to drop-off.

We’re an early-stage startup. The product is built and live, the company is founder-run today, and the next few hires will shape what it becomes. We exist to serve our customers and to serve our operators, and we win on transparency: no hidden fees, no fine print, no surprises for either side.

The role

Some organizations don’t book a bus. They run a program: a conference moving a few thousand people between hotels and a convention center, a university’s athletics travel, an employee shuttle that runs every weekday, an offsite with coaches lined up at the curb. Those deals are bigger, slower and more complex than a quote form can hold, and they’re where we want to grow next.

You’d own enterprise end to end: find the organizations, win the program, scope it with the founder and our operators, and stay the account’s one point of contact for as long as they run with us. We have the page and the inbox for it today. You’d build the practice.

What you’d do

  • Prospect and win organizations that move people all year: conferences and conventions, universities and athletics departments, corporate programs, employee and campus shuttles, tournaments and festivals.
  • Scope each program with the client: dates, places, how many people move at once, on-site coordinators, branding, billing terms.
  • Build the proposal with the founder, who signs off on every program price, and put it in writing.
  • Run the procurement side: RFPs, vendor onboarding, insurance certificates, purchase orders, invoicing in the client’s name.
  • Be the one point of contact once the program runs: on site at launch when it matters, the changes, the debrief after.
  • Grow accounts. A conference this year, its sister events next year.
  • Feed what enterprises need back into the product and the operator network.

Your first 90 days

  1. 01Days 1 to 30: learn the product, the operator network and how a trip really runs, by working regular bookings beside the founder.
  2. 02Days 31 to 60: build the target list and the outreach, and take over every inbound enterprise inquiry.
  3. 03Days 61 to 90: a pipeline you can defend, the first program scoped and quoted, and a written playbook for the next one.

You might be a fit if

  • You’ve sold or managed complex B2B services, ideally in transportation, events, travel, hospitality or logistics, with cycles that take months and deals that need procurement’s stamp.
  • You’ve written a proposal that won, and run the program after.
  • You can hold a conference planner’s hand and a procurement officer’s checklist in the same week.
  • You care about the trip going right as much as the contract getting signed.
  • You’re comfortable being the whole enterprise team for a while.

Probably not for you if

  • You want someone else setting your meetings and writing your proposals.
  • You’re looking for a list of big logos to sell against. We’re earning our first ones.
  • In your model of the job, post-sale is someone else’s problem.

What you get

A founding seatYou’d be one of the first people here, working directly with the founder, with real say over how your function gets built.
EquityEarly hires own a piece of what they build.
Remote-firstWork where you live. Our trips run in all 50 states, and so do our operators.
A product that already worksA live booking site, an operator portal and an ops console, all in production. You’re not waiting on a build.
The stage, said plainlyWe’re small and pre-scale, and we say so. You’ll always know where the business stands.

How hiring works

  1. 01Send your resume with the role in the subject line. A few lines on why you want this one beat a cover letter.
  2. 02A person reads it and replies. Every resume gets an answer from someone, not a system.
  3. 03A 30-minute call with the founder: the role, where the business stands, your questions.
  4. 04A working session on a real problem from the job. A couple of hours, not a take-home project.
  5. 05References, then a written offer with everything spelled out.
